You will find Buskers in most cities, on most days. Chichester is no different. There are some incredibly talented musicians playing to the crowds that drift slowly by.

 

Occasionally stopping to listen. A timeless story. One with many endings. But always a common thread.

And sometimes even despite the rain.

Athough it was not your regular Welsh rarebit.

It was good enough to get me to try their potatoe hash.

But I did not dare to ask for salt.

It wasn’t needed and I was intimidated.

The Jam Cafe in South St is different. Frequented by creative types doing stuff, all sorts of stuff that is different.

Offering the most interesting menu I have found in Chichester. Challenging one explore. To try the diffent options at prices that will appeal to students.

Found a new  cafe and coffee shop at the bottom of South St. They actually opened early in March but then, things got complicated.

It’s a family run cafe serving good coffee,

an all day breakfast and a light lunch menu.

All homemade with that little bit extra. The fish pie was great and I would have liked to try the ginger sponge. But having started with the soup of the day I will wait for the next time.

If I remember it was courgette and something else I will have to ask about when I go back for the pudding.
